Cava is Galway's first Spanish Restaurant and Tapas Bar devoted exclusively to Spanish food, wine, sherry and beer. Situated on Dominick Street in Galway, the city’s up and coming westend, Cava aims to provide Galway with the ambiance and regional aromas of all parts of Spain. The food menu in Cava features over 50 regional tapas and the wine menu includes over 140 Spanish wines. Cava is owned and run by husband and wife team Jp McMahon and Drigin Gaffey.

What makes Cava both unique and different as a restaurant in Ireland is the ways in which customers eat. With tapas, the idea is to share each other's food, savouring each distinct taste. Tapas are a careful blend of tradition and innovation – a careful balance of remaining true to one’s culture and ingredients, while also attempting to look forward and develop new and different ways of eating, drinking and socializing.
